12 Christmas Quote Images to Share

Posted on December 14, 2012

As Christmas draws near and all of the shopping and the parties and the advertising and the expectations conspire to overwhelm season with busyness, commercialism and anxiety, take some time each day to remind yourself of what Christmas is all about – God came in the flesh to be with us.

His Spirit is still with us today, bringing peace and joy to all who bow a knee to the God who was born for us and died for us in the humblest of circumstances.

Each day this month, a Christmas quote image is being posted to the Live Intentionally Facebook page.   A dozen of them are included here. Sharing them is a great way to share the peace, joy and true meaning of Christmas with others.

Christmas is not just a time for festivity & merry making. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. -J.C. Penny

He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree. -Roy L. Smith

Christmas is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, the genial flame of charity in the heart. -Washington Irving

Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas. -Peg Bracken
Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love! -Hamilton Wright Mabie

Remember This December, That love weighs more than gold! -JosephineDaskam Bacon
A Christmas candle is a lovely thing; It makes no noise at all, But softly gives itself away. -Eva Logue

Let's approach Christmas with an expectant hush, rather than a last-minute rush.

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world and behold, everything is softer & more beautiful. -Norman Vincent Peale

Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more. -The Grinch, Dr. Seuss

This year, may your Christmas truly be white instead of leaving you in the red.

If you hitch your wagon to a star, be sure it's the Star of Bethlehem. -Spencer Walton
