I don’t usually mention stuff here from my company blog, but I thought this would be worthwhile…
Over at OurChurch.Com we’re inviting people to take 1 minute a day for the next 10 days leading up to Thanksgiving to send an electronic thank you note to someone. Could be anyone – a parent, a child, a co-worker, a neighbor, someone serving in the military. Send it however you like – email, text, IM, ecard.
Then post a quick comment on the OCC blog article. See collectively how many thank you notes get sent.
What do you think? Have you got 1 minute to thank someone special?
Happy Thanksgiving this 2008 to the one who has done the most for me this year and deserves the most love from me. It would take up too much space to mention all the ways you’ve made me stronger inside. But just remember that I want to kiss you Thanksgiving morning enough times to show all my appreciation for all the positive rewards which you brought into my life and the powerful person I’ve become thanks to all your love towards me as a son. There are miles of warm quotes I would like to include in this letter on your part. But you just remember I’ll always have a place for you in my heart.
