- God is saying to His church, “It’s time to wake up!”
- There is so much hopelessness, it’s so difficult, its easy to feel overwhelmed, but this is the greatest hour for the church. We were made for this moment in history.
- Told her story of abuse and adoption, and growing up as a poor, ostracized minority.
- If God could redeem me, he can do it for anyone.
- Numbers are de-humanizing. Must put a name and a face to individuals suffering.
- The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of us.
- You do what you want out of passion.
- Hope fuels our risk-taking.
- John 17:15-18 – My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17Sanctify[b] them by the truth; your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
- The job of the church is not to run from the darkness but to bring the light of Christ into the darkness.
- Don’t lose hope!
- Our hope does not lie in our circumstances, resources, or position but it lies in Jesus.
- Phil 1:6 he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
