check out camelbak - for some ideas. also check your local running or big box store for belts. When you get up in miles like this, you definitely need to continue to hydrate. I have a Camelbak flashflo. Also, many people stash their bottles ahead of time in bushes, etc! You will probably get tired of short loops done several times...

I'm not a veteran but I'd like to take a shot at answering your hydration question. I was told by a running coach that you should average around 3 ounces of water every 20 minutes, or so, of running.

Personally, I hydrate the night before and I drink another cup of water about an hour and a half before I run. Then as I run I only drink enough to fill my mouth. (I don't really like stopping and I hate swallowing air.) So I'm assuming that it's somewhere between 2 - 3 ounces of water.

Also, when I run more than 3 miles I alternate between water and Gatorade every mile or so.

I hope this is helpful. Good luck with your training. I too am training for a January marathon. I wish you all the luck and stay safe.
